i'm trying to open up my realm of books.
last year i started to really get into reading. i've always liked to read (as long as an essay, project, worksheet, or test isn't involved) but haven't really been turned on to too many books.
i love going to the book store, but get overwhelmed by the thousands of titles.
so i'm asking you, my blogging friends, to suggest books to me.
i'm working on a few books at the moment, but one of my goals for the year is read 25 books and books that i haven't read before. that's where you lovely readers come in =)
i like to read fiction
i like to read love stories
i like to read fantasy
i haven't read any classics
(but i would like to ease into reading them)
so suggest away and hopefully i'll be able to read them!
thank you in advance! i really appreciate your opinions
=)
6 two cents' worth:
Alrighty, so here's a few of my favorites...
The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Host (just incase you haven't read it), The Percy Jackson books (just started them, so I don't know what to think yet), The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments(just incase you haven't read those yet either). Classic wise, you can never go wrong with Wuthering Heights. It's hard to get into sometimes, but just think about Edward :) Geez, I have tons of suggestions, but I don't know what you've read yet. I'll think of some more and let you know later...
You have all my suggestions! If you haven't read the Hunger Games series, you MUST. Like. MUST. They are amazing!
i have read The Host, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. LOVED THG and CF!! absolutely amazing and can't wait for the third.
Elyse- I've wanted to read Wuthering Heights, add that to the list!
Sara-Jane- excellent suggestions and i'm looking into them!
