books

i'm trying to open up my realm of books.

last year i started to really get into reading. i've always liked to read (as long as an essay, project, worksheet, or test isn't involved) but haven't really been turned on to too many books.

i love going to the book store, but get overwhelmed by the thousands of titles.

so i'm asking you, my blogging friends, to suggest books to me.

i'm working on a few books at the moment, but one of my goals for the year is read 25 books and books that i haven't read before. that's where you lovely readers come in =)

i like to read fiction

i like to read love stories

i like to read fantasy

i haven't read any classics

(but i would like to ease into reading them)

so suggest away and hopefully i'll be able to read them!

thank you in advance! i really appreciate your opinions

=)

Alrighty, so here's a few of my favorites...
The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Host (just incase you haven't read it), The Percy Jackson books (just started them, so I don't know what to think yet), The Hunger Games and The Mortal Instruments(just incase you haven't read those yet either). Classic wise, you can never go wrong with Wuthering Heights. It's hard to get into sometimes, but just think about Edward :) Geez, I have tons of suggestions, but I don't know what you've read yet. I'll think of some more and let you know later...

naked by david sedaris.

can't really go wrong with phillipa gregory [she writes period fiction - think queen elizabeth]

wuthering heights is one of the only classics i can actually get through.

one for the money by janet evanovich [if you like the first one, there are 14 more]

twisted by laurie halse anderson.

nora roberts writes under j.d. robb - they're cool futuristic mysteries/romance

all-american girl by meg cabot [pretty much anything she's written]

rebecca by daphne dumaurier

into the wild by john krakauer

anything by cecilia ahern [start with p.s. i love you]

is that enough to get you started? haha.
